Description
English: Inspired from printed chintz, design is of lilacs and roses in lavender and pink with green leaves on tan background. Lilacs in oil paints, roses and leaves in distemper. Label on inside of cover reads: "From Jesse Baker, Paper Box Manfr. No. 21 Bank St. bet. Market & Chestnut & 2nd & 3rd, Phil-delphia." This box belonged to Sarah Kirk, aunt of Elyah Hollingsworth; presented by his granddaughter, Mrs. Norton Paton, Irvington-on-Hudson, New York.
