Description

La Pedrera es un pintoresco balneario asentado sobre un acantilado rocoso, donde todo es calmo, salvo el mar. Sus playas son elegidas para practicar deportes acuáticos, realizar caminatas y cabalgatas e ir de pesca.

Playas como El Desplayado, con una pequeña bahía entre las rocas, ideal para el disfrute familiar o la Del Barco, con un marcado perfil juvenil, donde se concetran surfers para disfrutar de las olas.

Su rambla invita a largas caminatas, a sentir el paisaje y observar el paso de las ballenas francas en el horizonte entre julio y octubre. En esta playa además, todavía pueden observarse los últimos vestigios del buque pesquero “Cathay VIII”, encallado desde el año 1971.

Los visitantes estivales no pueden perderse el Carnaval de La Pedrera, con jornadas de intensa diversión.

En la avenida principal de La Pedrera se encuentran el Club Social y Deportivo -centro de espectáculos, eventos y reuniones-, una feria artesanal, boutiques y una variedad de pequeños comercios y restaurantes que brindan calidez y servicio para hacer de la estadía del visitante algo inolvidable.
