Item is a photograph from an album of World War One-related photographs in the William Okell Holden Dodds fonds. Brigadier General Dodds joined the Canadian Expeditionary Force in 1914 and was commanding officer of the 5th Canadian Division Artillery and served in France from 1917-1918.

Ce cliché est tiré d'un album de photographies relatif à la Première Guerre mondiale et appartenant au fonds William Okell Holden Dodds. Le brigadier-général Dodds s'est joint au Corps expéditionnaire canadien en 1914 et a commandé l'Artillerie de la 5e Division canadienne. Il a servi en France de 1917 à 1918.
Une photo aérienne similaire est reproduite dans un livre de 1923 et réédité, soit, "l'Agonie de Bailleul", écrit par Lucien Détrez (Voir=>recopié le " ISBN 9782402605236 ") ; ladite photographie étant ayant été prise par l'Aviation Britanique le 22 aout 1918.
