Deutsch: Der hier zu sehende rote Akkutriebwagen 515 628 beginnt in Mariagrube (17.07 Uhr) und fährt auf der von Jülich kommenden Strecke als Zug 8260 nach Aachen Nord (Ankunft 17.30 Uhr), er verlässt gerade den Bahnhof Mariagrube und unterquert die Ringbahn. Dieser Bahnhof hatte insgesamt drei Bahnsteigbereiche: 1.) einen oberen an der Ringbahn, welche hier die Strecke Aachen Nord - Jülich überquert, etwas nördlich (also links) von der Positiion des Fotografen. 2.) zwei Bahnsteige an der Verbindungskurve vom Abzweig Kellersberg (Richtung Herzogenrath) zum zentralen Bahnhofsbereich Mariagrube in der unteren Ebene (Richtung Siersdorf und Jülich), 3.) zwei Bahnsteige für die Züge zwischen Jülich und Aachen Nord unmittelbar am Bahnhofsgebäude. Östlich des Bahnhofsgebäudes erstreckten sich parallel zu den Streckengleisen nach Siersdorf und Jülich mehrere lange Gütergleise, auf den häufig leere Kohlezüge abgestellt wurden. Rechts im Bild sind die Reste des bis ca. 1953 bestehenden Verbindungsgleises aus Richtung Aachen Nord zum damaligen Grubenbahnhof Mariadorf und der benachbarten Grube Reserve zu erkennen. Von Grube Reserve stammt die Halde Jaspersberg. |
