Description
Deutsch: Das denkmalgeschützte Bahnhofsgebäude (1925), Bahnhofplatz 8, Bad Tölz.
Soweit erkennbar, steht das Gebäude leer. Es macht einen heruntergekommenen Eindruck. Das „Kundencenter“ der BRB und andere Einrichtungen befinden sich jetzt in Containern am Rand eines Parkplatzes jenseits der Gleise. Insgesamt keine gute „Visitenkarte“ für einen Kur- und Fremdenverkehrsort.
Der Uhrturm ist in halber Höhe mit drei Skulpturen dekoriert: links und rechts jeweils der Kopf eines bärtigen Mannes; der Kopf in der Mitte ist durch den Flügelhut als Merkur gekennzeichnet. Der römische Gott soll hier wohl als Gott des Reisens und der Reisenden verstanden werden.
Die Fotos wurden bei Sonnenuntergang aufgenommen und sind daher z. T. rötlich beleuchtet.
