English: Looking northeast from North Carolina Highway 740 toward hilly terrain on the eastern side of Badin Lake, north of Badin, in Stanly County, North Carolina, United States. On the hillside is the Hardaway Site, a major archaeological site, which has been designated a National Historic Landmark.
