Description
Deutsch: Bad Rappenau, Ortsteil Heinsheim: Blick südwärts über die Gäßnerklinge auf die Burg Ehrenberg.
In der Mitte der Bergfried (beachte den darauf wachsenden Baum ;–) mit den verfallenden Teilen der Kernburg, davor die noch erhaltene und tlw. bewohnte Vorburg. Links das Neckartal, im Mittelgrund die Dächer von Heinsheim, im Hintergrund die Mauern und Türme von Bad Wimpfen; im Neckartal ist etwas Nebel oder Dunst sichtbar.
English: Bad Rappenau, Germany, district Heinsheim: Ehrenberg Castle seen from the north.
In the centre the Bergfried (note the tree on the top ;–) with the collapsed buildings of the inner bailey, before them the outer bailey which is more or less intact and partially occupied. At the left the valley of the river Neckar, in the middle ground the roofs of Heinsheim, in the background the walls and towers of Bad Wimpfen; there is some mist or dust over the valley of the Neckar.
