Description
Deutsch: Hinweisschild am herrschaftlichen, villenartigen Stadthaus in de:Bad Kreuznach, Eiermarkt 14, mit der Information: Das Haus steht auf den Fundamenten des im Jahre 1849 abgebrannten gotischen Rathauses. Es wurde 1862 nach Plönen des Kreisbauinspektors Conradi im Stil der italienischen Renaissance erbaut. Bauherren waren die Gebrüder Scheyer, die hier ein bedeutendes Weingeschäft betrieben. 1906 Übernahme des Gebäudes durch das Bankhaus Kronenberger; 1928 durch die Commerz- und Creditbank. 1942 kriegsbedingte Schließung des Bankhauses. Seitdem städtisches Verwaltungsgebäude.
