Summary[edit]

Description Captured by the Americans, the German experimental missile interceptor fighter (Bachem Ba 349 В Natter ("Viper") at the US Air Force Freeman Field. To launch, the Ba 349 was mounted on almost vertical rails 25 m long. The maximum speed is 990 km / h. Practical range 57 km. Armament: 24x73 mm Foehn missiles, or 33x55 mm R4M, or two 30 mm MK-108 guns with 30 rounds per barrel. After firing all the weapons, the pilot had to eject from the plane.
