Description
English: Photograph showing part of the Strait of Bab el-Mandeb looking east towards the Yemeni coast. The promontory on the left is Ras Menheli, the highest of the half dozen promontories and outcrops at the tip of the Bab el-Mandeb Peninsula, also known as the Sheikh Said Peninsula. Taken by a passenger of a passing steamer 10 January 1884.
