Description
Deutsch: Die Skulptur "Die Himmelsrichtungen" von Rainer Tappeser vor dem LBA in Braunschweig. Geschaffen wurde sie 1998 aus vier unterschiedlich langen Stahl-Rundrohren von 30 cm Durchmesser. Die Rohre sind unterschiedlich stark in je eine Himmelsrichtung geneigt: Blau nach Norden, Rot nach Osten, Gelb nach Süden und Grün nach Westen.
English: The sculpture "Die Himmelsrichtungen" (The Cardinal Directions) by Rainer Tappeser in front of the Federal Aviation Office in Brunswick, Germany. It was created in 1998 from four round steel tubes of 30 cm diameter. The tubes are inclined differently towards each cardinal point: blue to the north, red to the east, yellow to the south and green to the west.
