English: BR (SR) Class "930" 750v dc 3rd rail De-icing & Rail Cleaning 2-car emu No.002 (ex-No.003) in BR Rail Blue livery with all yellow front end at Bournemouth, 07/85. The set is composed of ex-SR Bulleid "4-LAV" semi-fast 4-car emu cars: on the left is car No.ADS70270 (ex-977 366 and ex-No.10497 of 4-LAV set No.2954) and on the right is car No.ADS70272 (ex-977 367, ex-No.10499 of 4-LAV set No.2955). Early Bulleid emu's were a combination of Maunsell features, such as body construction, and Bulleid features, such as the all-steel cab similer to Maunsell's dome design but cleaned up (in contrast to the flat front adopted by Bulleid post war), round cornered windows (but without the characteristic Bullied top lights above the door windows of post-war designs) and improved traction motors.
