| Description |
English: Boxing is a game of fame, money and influence, Lagos state, Nigeria is known for grooming young sports men and women, however boxing has gone to the grassroots with focus on the teenagers. In many parts of Lagos, boxing fiesta is being organized with fun fair during boxing day of December and other day to celebrate a boxing club years of existence, to entertain and make people happy. With this idea, boxing around the state is a common features of friendship, retired boxers who have became coaches make use of this opportunity to bring in kids by training them on boxing which they display during tournament organized on the streets. More kids are showing interest in the game, though it is difficult as its lack sponsorship but with love they share what they have together.
