[edit]
Description
English: This is a drainage trap made at Prestongrange Brick and Tile Works. It is designed to capture water from a vertical drainpipe and carry it off to a sewer.
It was made by Matthew Marr, a fireclay moulder, who worked at the Brickworks until it closed. You can see his initial, M, stamped on the object. Matthew began work aged 14 at Prestongrange with his father Sinclair Marr.
