Stamp of Belgium; 1976; commemorative surcharge stamp of the issue "400th anniversary of birth of Peter Paul Rubens"; stamp motive with a detail (head of the "king with turban") from the painting "Adoration by the Magi" (Antwerp original) by Peter Paul Rubens (1577-1640); The original painting was a commissional work as altarpiece for the "Church of the Abbey of Saint Michaelis" in Antwerp.; As Mary has Rubens painted his then wife Isabella Brant.
