Summary[edit]

Description I'd guess that Menabha is El Menabha, Algeria, right next to the Moroccan border. Béni-Ounif is in Algeria, but only 8 km from Figuig [Figig - Ifiyey (Berber: Afgig)], Morocco. Bou-Arfa [Bordj de Bou Arfa, Buarfa] is in Morocco near the Algeria border. Oran is the setting for the Albert Camus novel, "La Peste" (The Plague) and, of course Morocco is the home of Rick's Cafe in the movie "Casablanca" which came out about the same time this photo was taken. Thanks to maghreb-united and sefra86 for the location of this photo.
