Description

Three aircraft from the ‘missing man’ formation return to Culpeper after taking part in the 2015 Arsenal of Democracy Flyover to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of VE Day and the end of WW2. Leading is Grumman TBM-3E Avenger ‘85938 / X-308’ which is c/n 2757 and flies as NL7226C Centre of the formation in P-51D Mustang “Dakota Kid II” which is c/n 122-41064 and flies as NL151HR. In the rear is P-40K Warhawk ‘210256’ which is c/n 21640 and flies as N401WH. All are operated by The Texas Flying Legends Museum. Culpeper Regional Airport, Virginia, USA
