Augmentation of honour of Thomas Cromwell, 1st Earl of Essex: Party per fess or and gules, a pale counterchanged all charged alternately with six fleurs de lys azure and pelicans with wings close vulning themselves of the first, 3 and 3. Granted by King Henry VIII in 1537 to Thomas Cromwell, 1st Earl of Essex on the occasion of the marriage of his son Gregory Cromwell, 1st Baron Cromwell to Elizabeth Seymour, sister of Queen Jane Seymour.
