| Description |
English: Auchernach walled garden The surviving mill and stables are currently being redeveloped into three dwellings. The original Auchernach House was built in 1809 by Lieut-General Nathaniel Forbes of Hon East India Co ('Geology of Auchernach' 1930), but was demolished in 1945. The garden wall was modelled on an Indian fort, with circular towers in the east and west walls. In the north wall is a slim square granite tower with crenellated parapet. |
