Summary
[edit]DescriptionAttila J K.jpg |
English: The art of Attila JK is partly a hommage to the activity of the American abstract expressionist artists, and the same time it is an experiment to continue and renew it.
The artist paints with oil on plates of wood-fiber of different sizes. The works have got vital dynamism of colors, his palette includes red, orange, blue, green, yellow and several more shades. His surfaces are thick, while he paints pastose. He runs and drips the paint, arranging from them irregular formations, and it looks as if we saw the signals of a seismograph or the pulsation of the beat. There are processes under control, however his approach is rather instinct, his gestures come from the depth of the heart. His art refers to the complexity and harmony of the universe, radiating the power of the soul of the microcosm at the same time. Csaba Kozák art writer, independent curator |
