Description A formation of eight Vought F-8C Crusaders, one RF-8G, four Douglas A-4B Skyhawks, and eight A-4Cs from Attack Carrier Air Wing 8 (CVW-8) approaches United States Navy surface units during a Mediterranean air show, 1968. CVW-8 was assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Shangri-La (CVA-38), visible in the background, for a deployment to the Mediterranean Sea from 15 November 1967 to 4 August 1968.
