Summary[edit]
DescriptionAtmospheric CO2 impulse response.svg |
English: This graph shows impulse response functions following a 100 gigaton equivalent carbon (GtC) pulse of carbon dioxide into Earth's atmosphere. The simulated pulse was added to a presumed 389ppm CO2 equilibrium background. Results are shown from a range of models which simulate the atmospheric couplings to the ocean, land, and biosphere carbon sinks.
