Summary[edit]

Description
English: Atchinan is a vodoun which is symbolized by the red "houn vè" worn on the head or on the shoulders which is composed of an oblong bundle and a bouquet of red parrot feathers at the ends. Furthermore, worn by the "Vodoun hento" (which means the vodoun wearer). The Atchinan vodoun is worn by its followers (called Avossè) on the vodoun square in Ouidah in Benin. January 10, 2022.
