| Description |
English: Astwith Lane. This westerly facing photograph is of Astwith Lane between Astwith (ahead) and the Heath to Stanley Road (behind the viewpoint).
Ahead the road dips down to cross the Astwith Dumbles¹ before rising steadily again all the way to the hamlet of Astwith. The gate in the hedge (ahead) leads into (private) 596749. Just in front of the viewpoint a footpath crosses the lane. To the left (notice the post in the bushes) the 596728 leads in the direction of Hardstoft. To the right (the route is not obvious in this picture) the 596734 leads toward Stainsby. For a more westerly (ahead) view of the lane, click here 603564.
