Na?ud daCini^aicîns. Satellites de Saturne. 50^ Cette longitude du nœud de lanneau en i55f , à 5= 20.50 (5231); mais M. Ciiflini, (tlém. àajlron. pag. 643 ),dit que ce nœud eft à ^^ 22°. Telle eft , fuivant ces dif-férens auteurs, la longitude du nœud des 4 premiersfatellites. On a cru reconnoître en 1744, que les nœudsde lanneau avoient eu un moment rétrograde ; il eft diffi-cile den juger fur un fi petit intervalle de temps , cepen-dant il eft naturel de croire que les attrapions des fatel-lites fur cet anneau y produifent un femblable effet, puis-que la lune le produit fur le fphéroïde terreftre ( 5 J2i5);on sen afiurera mieux en 1773 , lorfque Saturne fe trou-,vera dans le nœud de lanneau (3230). Le nœud du $^ fatellite fut trouvé en 1714 par M.Caflini à js 4° fur lécliptique , ceft-à- dire, moins avancéde 17° que le nœud des 4 autres fatellites fur lorbite deSaturne; car M. Caffini les fuppofoit à j^ 21° fur Téclip-tique, (Mém. acad. 1714, pa^- 374) M
