Astra 110 tape recorder (Soviet Union, 1987)

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Astra 110 tape recorder (Soviet Union, 1987). This is a three-head conversion of the two-head models 208 and 209 introduced in 1980. The Soviet industry never mastered the mysterious medium called Compact Cassette - so reel-to-reel remained the format of choice into the 1990s. Even the inflow of foreign equipment in the 1990s did not change it: quarter-inch tape remained the quality format, the cassette was deemed low-fi, only good for cheap portables. And then, finally, came the digital.
Русский: Катушечный магнитофон "Астра-110-1-стерео" (с начала 1988 года "Астра МК-110С-1") с осени 1987 года выпускал Ленинградский завод "Техприбор". [1]
