| Description |
English: This kirtan was performed on Bishnupada Dham, Tarapasha, Bangladesh. Kirtan is a part of sanatani ritual where the group of people worship the lord Krishna by chanting 'Hare Krishna' for one Prahar or three hours. This picture is representing the 'Naam-Kirtan' which means the group of people, the Kirtania's are chanting by the name of the lord Krishna. They are also playing different musical instruments like dhol, kartal, harmonium, flute, violin etc.
বাংলা: এই ছবিটি বাংলাদেশের তারাপাশা উপজেলার বিষ্ণুপদ ধামে দোল পূর্ণিমা উপলক্ষে হওয়া কীর্তনের। কীর্তন সনাতনী বা হিন্দুধর্মাবলম্বীদের একটি আচার অনুষ্ঠান। এই ছবিটি মূলত নামকীর্তন বা নামসংকীর্তনের যেখানে কীর্তনীয়ারা, অর্থাৎ যারা কীর্তন করছেন, তারা সনাতনীদের পূজিত ভগবান শ্রীকৃষ্ণের নাম নানান সুরে 'হরে-কৃষ্ণ' বলে গাইতেন। বাঁশি, ঢোল, করতাল, হারমোনিয়াম কীর্তনের কিছু বহুল ব্যবহৃত বাদ্যযন্ত্র্র। প্রতিটি কীর্তনের দল তিন ঘন্টা অর্থাৎ এক প্রহর করে নামসংকীর্তন করে। ভক্তকূল সাধারণত চারপাশে ঘিরে রেখে কীর্তনীয়াদের কীর্তন শুনে থাকে। |
