Gettysburg National Military Park Gettysburg, Pennsylvania D66 March 4, 1963 Mr. Harry V. Connolly Bruns Monumental Company 2311 Two Notch Road U.S. Highway No. 1 Columbia, South Carolina Dear Mr. Connolly: We have received the blueprints of the design and carving for the South Carolina Memorial and note that lettering detail will be sent to us soon. As you probably know, the design and lettering must be approved by the Director. We are holding the blueprints until the lettering detail is received from you so that is can all be sent in together and acted upon at one time. We will need an additional set of the blueprints of the design and carving. The lettering detail should also be furnished in duplicate. Sincerely yours, S. G.
