Ascitic fluid analysis is a diagnostic test performed on fluid that accumulates in the abdominal cavity, a condition known as ascites.

Description
English: Ascites can have various underlying causes, and analyzing the fluid can help determine the cause and guide treatment. Here are some of the findings that may be observed during ascitic fluid analysis and Color, Volume, Cell Count, and Protein Concentration, Albumin-Globulin (A/G) Ratio, Amylase, Cytology, Bacterial Culture, Gram Stain, Glucose Levels, and Lactate Dehydrogenase (LDH).
