àlextrémité de la boîte plate. Le 8 mars 1870, Trélat a présenté, à lAcadémie de médecine (1), unnouvel œsophagotome dont il sest servi avec succès dans un cas de rétré-cissement cicatriciel. Lœsophagotome de Trélat (fig. 1235), construit par Robert et Collin, aune longueur totale de 60 centimètres : il se décompose en une partie ma-nuelle longue de 12 centimètres et une tige légèrement courbe, graduée sursa longueur; cette tige est terminée, à sa partie inférieure, par un renflementméplat, mesurant 15 centimètres clans son plus grand axe ; au-dessous durenflement, on remarque une tige terminale, à pointe olivaire, longue de5 centimètres et large de k millimètres. La tige terminale qui renferme leslames B doit pénétrer dans le rétrécissement ; le renflement est destiné à (1) Trélat, De lœsophagotomie interne dans les rétrécissements cicatriciels deVœsophage (Bulletin de lAcad. de méd.
