Summary[edit]

Description
English: Arriva London bus RML895 (reg. WLT 895), a 1961 Routemaster, pictured broken down, while operating route 159 to Streatham railway station. From first delivery in November 1961, RML895 operated in London on various routes, until being withdrawn from route 159 in December 2005, as the last ordinary route to use Routemasters, having received a life-extending refurbishment and new Iveco engine in 1991/2. After being withdrawn, it was reregistered as 252 UXO, and in January 2006 was sold to dealer Ensignbus, being bought by Bristol based private owners by December 2006. Arriva London continued to use the WLT 895 registration on modern buses, as seen in this image.
