Summary[edit]

Description
English: Arriva Guildford & West Surrey 3099 (R299 CMV), a Dennis Dart SLF/Plaxton Pointer, in the right hand queue jump bus lane from Woodbridge Road into Woodbridge Road (the road makes a 90 degree turn at a crossroads), Guildford, Surrey, on route 27. The bus lane enables buses to use the straight on lanes prior to the junction, and at the last minute pull right into a piece of bus lane which is parallel to the right hand turn lanes (cars in the right hand lanes can be seen on the bus' right in this photo). The traffic light sequence means that buses are let out to cross the junction before the right turn lanes for all traffic. The queue jump works well, letting buses avoid tailbacks which can sometimes stretch back hundreds of meters.
