Description Victoria Hospital Suez 1884 showing Dr Godwin, Mr Mitchell, Mr Gormley, Sister Thomas, Dr Jeffcott, Mr Bond, Mr Churchill, Sister Jerrard, Mr Biggs, Sister Clement and orderlies of the Army Hospital Corps. The Army Nursing Service was set up in 1881. It was the predecessor of the Queen Alexandra's Imperial Military Nursing Service (QAIMNS) established in 1902.
