English: Great Arms of the House of Douglas-Hamilton.
  • Arms: A crescent azure debruised by Quarterly, first grandquarter Argent, a man’s heart gules imperially crowned proper and on a chief azure three mullets argent (Douglas); second and third grandquarters counterquartered, 1st: Azure, a lion rampant argent crowned or; 2nd: Or a bend sable debruised by a lion rampant gules; 3rd: Argent 3 piles gules; 4th: Or, a fess chequy azure and argent surmounted by a bend gules charged with three buckles or (Stewart of Bonkyll); fourth grandquarter: counterquartered, first and fourth gules, three cinquefoils ermine (for Hamilton); second and third argent, a lymphad with sails furled proper, flagged gules (for Arran).
