English: Parade armor of Henry II of France. Steel; blued, embossed, silvered and gilt. France, 1555. In the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Design attributed to Paris goldsmith and printmaker Etienne Delaune. Many rough preparatory sketches of this design, made apparently by Delaune himself, in the Staatliche Graphische Sammlung München.
