The architert here has made the chimney breast themotive of a treatment in brick at once distinctive and beauti^l. ^istindire Treatments of Face Brick Walls INTERESTING and attrartiveefferts in the FaceBrick wall are not necessarily dependent onspecial forms and si:es. An almost infinite varietyof distinctive treatments is possible by the useof standard si:ed Face Brick —and thus securedat the greatest economy. Morethan a hundred ex-amples of fine brickwork in standard sired Face Brick are shown in the portfolio of Architec-tural Details in Brickwork. Many architects haveexpressed themselves as delighted with the beautyof the plates and their richness in suggestions. A set of these plates, in three folders withprinted tabs ready for filing, will be sent to anvarchitect: requesting themon his office stationery.
