The principal limiting factor has been the inadequacy andinelasticity of the present electric outlet. Placing necessary outlets for lighting has been hedged aboutby constructional limitations and by the necessity of finishingevery outlet with a permanent and immovable fixture. Lighting, the most intangible of all forms of decoration,has had to be studied without the benefit of experimentation. Long before the stage at which the real study of decora-tions becomes possible, lighting arrangements have had to bepredetermined. The Electric Outlet Company will make it possible for thearchitectural profession to change this condition. B
