  • Bemerkungen: Laut Schrift auf der doublierten Rückseite der Leinwand (restauriert 1972 von Peskoller in Bruneck) stellt das Bildnis Maximilian III. im Alter von 36 Jahren dar, was auf ein Entstehungdatum von 1564 schließen lässt. Nach Nicoló Rasmo ist das Bildnis von einem niederländischen Maler gemalt worden. Kopie von Pescoller siehe s00849.
  • Inschriften Rückseite: Neue Schrift auf doublierter Leinwand oben links: "Erzherzog Maximilian der Deutschmeister / Bruder Kaiser Rudolfs II. / geb. 1558, gest. 1618.
