Description

Apparatus for taking composite photographs of skulls, no. 7, the exposure (CP 3011), National Museum of Health and Medicine

Description: “Two of the frames are lowered. A black velvet background is hung on the posterior frames; a white piece of cardboard is hung on one of the frames to illuminate dark side of skull. The attachment for securing the skull as the auditor measures is here employed. The skull is in position for taking pictures of norma basialis. The small velvet screens for occluding the brasswork are seen lying beside craniophore.”
