Many of the diseases recognized in this classification are onlyimportant causes of mortality during epidemics, and are notcommonly prevalent in this State. Others are limited toEurope, or the smaller geographical or climatic divisions. Among the diseases of the international classification, fromwhich there were no deaths in Maryland during 1912, weretyphus fever, relapsing fever, miliary fever, Asiatic cholera,bubonic plague, yellow fever and leprosy.
