Português: Mapa da radiação cósmica de fundo que mostra a anisotropia dipolar causada pelo movimento do sol e da galáxia, produzido com dados do satélite WMAP. O efeito doppler faz que a temperatura medida da radiação cósmica de fundo seja ligeiramente maior na direção do movimento e menor na direção oposta. No mapa, azul corresponde a 2.721 Kelvin e vermelho é 2.729 Kelvin. O plano galáctico corresponde à linha horizontal central, onde pode-se observar a interferência da Via Láctea. |
