English: Statue of the so-called "Leper King" in Angkor, Cambodia; actually it is not the image of a king but most likely that of Yama, the Hindu God of Death

Cette statue « se distingue de la statuaire khmère par le fait exceptionnel de la nudité . » « En marge des images khmères, cette statue traduit peut-être des influences extérieures. » « L'identification de cette ronde-bosse est encore incertaine et les dernières propositions (G. Cœdès, BEFEO 28, 1928 [1], p. 84) s'orientaient vers la figure de Yama. »
