Description
English: Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) Adm. Jonathan Greenert meets the family of Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Michael J. Marchante at the 8th annual Angels of the Battlefield Gala to honor medics, corpsmen and pararescuemen who, even when faced with grave danger in battle, treat the wounded and get them to safety. Marchante is this year's Navy awardee for rendering life-saving assistance while under fire to a coalition soldier who suffered injuries from an improvised explosive device.
