Italiano: Gli anelli di Liesegang sono anelli concentrici di diicromato di argento insolubile, ottenuti facendo cadere una goccia nitrato d'argento in una soluzione di gelatina contenente dicromato potassico o ammonico.
Ottenuti nel 1896 dal chimico e fotografo tedesco Raphael Eduard Liesegang, furono utilizzati nel 1929 da Walter Stempell come mezzo fisico per svelare le presunte radiazioni mitogenetiche che, scoperte nel 1922 dal biologo e medico russo Alexander Gurwitsch, furono descritte come deboli radiazioni elettromagnetiche, nella gamma ultravioletta dello spettro, emesse da organi di animali o di piante in accrescimento e in grado di indurre la mitosi nelle cellule di tessuti simili. |
