Summary[edit]

Description
English: This photo I took in a series of nights this month shows the Andromeda Galaxy. It covers an area of the night sky equal to that of the moon, but just bigger... more than ten times bigger! The most fascinating hypothesis that has been formulated on this galaxy is that in about 4 billion years, Andromeda and the Milky Way might be the protagonists of a galactic collision by merging one with the other. A discrete 100 shot union with Nikon D5100, SkyWatcher 150/750PDS and Eq5 mount.
