Title
Plan Geometral De Paris et De Ses Agrandissements a l'Echelle d'un millimetre pour 10m. (10,000). Revu et mis au courant par Alfred Potiquet.
Description
English: An old map of Paris by Andriveau-Goujon. First edition. Beautiful monumental plan of Paris, illustrating the expansion works of Baron Haussmann. This plan, published in 1858, is among the very first plans of modern Paris. The boulevards proposed by Haussmann are indicated as yellow roads on the map, cutting through the plan of the ancient city. See our later editions of 1860 (10735.000) and 1861 (10716.000) for numerous interesting changes in both the organization of the city and the evolution of the Haussmann plan. This copy includes a printed index and covers.
