Summary[edit]

Description
English: Tombstone of a five-year-old child from one of the families of early settlers in what are now the southern suburbs of Pittsburgh. The partly buried epitaph, which occurs on many children’s tombstones, seems to have originated in The Gentleman's Magazine, April, 1731 (https://books.google.com/books?id=h0pGAAAAcAAJ&lpg=PA170&ots=Zuejk-Qqjn&pg=PA170#v=onepage&q&f=false)
