| Description |
English: Anahita Temple is one of the must-see places in the city of Kermanshah and western Iran, which is known as the second largest stone building in Iran after Persepolis. According to historical documents and writings, this valuable building dates back to the three periods of the Achaemenid, Parthian, and Sasanian periods, and although some believe that this temple was built to praise the goddess of water; Some consider it a half-finished palace belonging to Khosrow Parviz. This work was registered on 24 Shahrivar 1310 with registration number 31 as one of the first national works of Iran. |
