Title
An incomplete Modern glass and copper alloy cufflink
Description
English: An incomplete Modern glass and copper alloy cufflink (20th century). The dome-shaped button of the cufflink is a cast glass eight-petalled flower; the glass is opaque and a deep yellow colour. On the reverse, the centre of the button is slightly recessed and houses a copper alloy hoop. To this is attached a section of chain that would have joined the two sections of the cufflink together. The other half of the cufflink is missing, but one complete s-shaped chain link remains along with a further loop. The artefact is quite worn, and the reverse has areas of black patina. Dimensions: thickness: 5.7mm; diameter: 15.9mm; weight: 3.84g.
