Description

SASEBO, Japan (Jan. 24, 2013) A landing craft air cushion (LCAC) approaches the stern gate of the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6), joining it on a scheduled deployment. The Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group is on deployment in the U. S. 7th Fleet area of operations and will take part in amphibious integration training (AIT), and certification exercise (CERTEX) and will participate in the annual multi-national combined joint training exercise Cobra Gold.
